JOPLIN, Mo. – The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention today hosted an organized walk in Joplin to raise awareness for mental health.
Local residents met at Landreth Park for a journey of remembrance, hope, and support.
Officials say the Out of the Darkness Walk unites people and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.
